Charlotte Tilbury…Hot Lips First Impressions..

Charlotte Tilbury…Hot Lips First Impressions..

I did it, I bit the bullet and ordered myself a Charlotte Tilbury hot lips lipstick, after coveting for a while over her gorgeous products, one tired Sunday evening I thought why not??…next minute I’m confirming my order and its mine!

Charlotte Tilbury has been a make up artist since the 90s and her work graces the cover of practically all our favourite magazines, she has an impressive following with the likes of Kimmy K, Natalie Portman and Kate Moss amongst her biggest supporters, so clearly she must be doing something right!

What I love about her range, which launched in 2013 is apart from the gorgeous ascetics (I mean look at the gold, isn’t it beautiful??)  she has been working on each product for years, carefully developing the formulas and not releasing anything she is less than happy with, take the magic foundation rumoured 5 years in the making just to make sure it lives up to its name…I really trust she wants her products to be the best and worth every penny spent on them.

I have been logging on for a while to look at the products and knew when the Hot Lips collection launched in July, I would be ‘adding to the basket’ especially as some of the money from the purchase goes towards Women for Women international charity! Even more reason to buy!

First hurdle though is the colours, the range has 12 amazing shades inspired by 12 celebs, all really different and being online I had to try and work out what shade was the one I wanted.

The website shows the shades on different skin types so you can try and figure out which one would work for you but of course, its not the same as seeing them right before your own eyes. I picked ‘Liv it Up’ first of all but once it arrived, I knew instantly it wasn’t for me so I filled in the form and sent it back in exchange for ‘Miranda May’.  I knew Miranda would work because CT provides 3 other samples in your delivery therefore I could try some others out and start creating a list of my favourites.

The delivery was quick and the product packaged in gorgeous CT purple tissue paper along with more samples of Hot Lips, also I was lucky to receive 2 Magic foundation shades I had requested to try.

The foundation sample was enough for 2 days and all I can say is it really is magic to me, that 100% is my next purchase from her range…as soon as pay day lands!! With her easy navigation website, generous range of products and quick delivery, CT defiantly has a new fan and I can totally see what the hype is now!

I really recommend checking out Charlotte Tilbury if you haven’t before, just click here.

Let me know if you have any CT favourites

Thanks so much Anna! The lipstick looks amazing on you! The foundation is really nice but I still think Estee Lauder Double wear is the best and that has my heart for now! xxxx
