Last weekend saw Ian’s brothers travel 5 hours down to Devon with our nieces and nephews, the reason for this visit? Celebrating their Nans 90th birthday on Sunday….can you imagine seeing the world through a 90 year olds eyes? The stuff she’s seen (insert monkey emoji with hands over eyes)
Saturday was kept pretty free because of Sunday being fully planned with the party. After standard gallons of tea, catch ups and plenty of Patchett cackle we decided to go for a ramble whilst the sun peaked through the clouds.
I will say this a million times throughout my blog, we are so lucky to live close to acres of countryside and coast and I love nothing more than exploring it!.
Today was the countrysides turn as this was literally on our door step….
Wearing my new Boohoo bomber (Previous post) and my Primark jeans was a perfect combo for the changing temp and a casual ramble.
Sunday arrived quickly and as it was Father’s Day, in fact Ian’s first Father’s Day! We had a relaxed morning opening cards- (nursery made a particularly cute card from Sonny!).
Sunday equals comfy clothes, I opted for my RI mom jeans, Boohoo bargain £5 colour block jumper and Maroon pumps… perfect for running some errands before changing into something smarter for the party.
The Party was fab and Nanny Patch was very overwhelmed! Hopefully she felt very special and loved as all her family were there to celebrate her massive milestone!
Hope you all had lovely weekends!
